Ithaka is Stefania Squeglia's new inspiration by the Greek poem "Ithaka" by Constantine Cavafy, published c.1911
It is a man's journey, metaphorically, through life and returning to port on a wooden boat, full of precious goods.
The perfume is part of the new Versi Trilogy, discovering the connection between perfume and poetry, and how to appreciate it.
Ithaka opens with a sublime bergamot blast, which lingers on the skin for hours and the transformation to spicy, woody and resinous dry-down is skilfully achieved by the young perfumer, Camille Chemardine. A sweet aroma of citrus, green and balsamic notes, heavenly uplifted once applied on the skin, turning it into a calm voyage.
