The picture was taken by the Brazilian photographer Flávio Veloso, from the emblematic viewing platform of Corcovado, looking at the majestic statue of Christ and at the peak moment at dawn he captures Rio de Janeiro’s beauty. A moment in time that conveys peacefulness. The sky ignites and shreds its golden shroud.
The Perfumer who composed Still Life in Rio is Dora Baghriche. The opening notes are an explosion of citrus with a piquant hint of spicy ginger and refreshing dash of mint leaf. A trio of pepper accords draw your attention and reveal the middle notes of sensual musky coconut water. The base notes are the grand finale of this carnival of a scent; Brazilian Copahu balm, which is beautifully embraced with sweet rum, just freshly poured into your glass. White leather accord adds modern finish to this joyous and vivacious scent, as the city of Rio.
