The iconic perfumery notes of the 1920s shared by flappers, dandies and adventurers is revived here with this amber and saffron-tinged leather, a dash of tangerine, a touch of jasmine, fine-grained, and decadently powdered with iris, mellowed in the base notes by the burnished tones of vanilla, labdanum and tonka bean.
Neither masculine nor feminine, Cuir X is somehow resolutely modern in its androgynous composition – a complex, heady, pulsating perfume that radiates confidence, joy and wild abandonment.
