So, Ganymede in it's original form - a salty, grassy, green woody floral, complex yet familiar - futuristic yet classical, gave us an androgynous powerhouse that transcended gender, age, and fashion.

It radiated a rare combination of freshness whilst remaining rich and long lasting: an extremely diffusive sillage reminiscent of mineralic / aldehydic / metallic 70's greats - in particular Rive Gauche. The woody powdery undertones nod to the Violet Leaf Opus that was Farenheit (original formula). A stellar combination of Yin and Yan - selling equally to all genders - no mean feat in an age of huge competition and an oversaturated market.

The charismatic new re-orchestration of Ganymede is exultant, profound and unapologetically individualistic. Following on from the unmistakeable original, Marc-Antoine Barrois and the perfumer Quentin Bisch have revisited and created a warmer, spicier, deeper interpretation at Parfum ( Extrait ) strength in capturing and creating a deeper, bolder, more atmospheric take on the original soft green mineral leather – we are presented with a reimagined Ganymede, spicier and hotter – overdosing on Immortelle, and with the exciting and intriguing new additions of Myrrh and Incense.

This is a rarified and exceptional Extrait, combining the very best of French ‘Savoir Faire’ – genderless, uncompromising on raw materials, and created by one of the most exceptional Perfumers of a generation.

This smells at it’s best in very warm weather, quite a revelation in fact! This has to be tried on the skin, as it transcends into something very special, almost three dimensional in it’s sillage and diffusion.
