Referencing the name of their very first fragrance, Sillage Royal, the fragrance recalls some of the fondest scent memories of the founder, Manos Gerakinis: the kind of refined, “masculine” perfumes that fascinated him as he was growing up - fragrances that many women, too, loved wearing, defying gender labels.
The star ingredient of this extraordinary perfume is Vetiver - a tall grass with deep roots, that imparts a rich, green, plush yet earthy multi faceted aura.
Mediterranean citruses, bergamot, lemon and mandarin, are the sparkling prologue, followed by hot vibrant spices of black pepper, cardamom, fennel seed, beneath these piquant top notes, the deeper aspects of the composition unfold with the soulful aura of orris, powdery yet complimenting the root-y facet of the central ingredient Vetiver.
A grounding base of cedarwood, moss, and patchouli underlines the vetiver's earthiness, with an olfactive epilogue of glowing amber, sensuous leather, and skin-evoking musks adding an aura of sophistication and seductiveness.
